If you’ve stayed with us at The Terrace 1851, you’ve probably noticed the many vintage pieces in our townhouses—furniture, artwork, and décor—each has a story behind them. We’ve filled the space with character and charm using treasures sourced from some of the best vintage and antique shops in Prince Edward County. Exploring these spots is one of my favourite ways to spend a day, and staying at The Terrace puts you right in the heart of it. Close to local gems, creative makers, and one-of-a-kind finds that capture the spirit of the County. If you haven’t stayed with us yet, we’d love to welcome you and share this thoughtfully curated space with you.

For fellow vintage hunters, collectors, or anyone who enjoys getting lost in a good thrift shop, we’ve put together a guide to our favourite spots. These are the places where we’ve found many of the items you’ll see around the townhouse.

Tips: Many of these shops have seasonal or irregular hours, so it’s always wise to check ahead—most keep their Instagram updated.
